Tancas Abertas

The Pro Loco of Thiesi, founded in 2002, is a cultural association that is dedicated to the enhancement of local traditions, historical, artistic, and landscape heritage, promoting activities that encourage the knowledge of Thiesi, both at a tourism and social level.

Among its initiatives, the Pro Loco has restored the social headquarters in the former ENAL youth recreational center and has organized events such as the sausage festival, carnival events, and cultural exhibitions.

It has also contributed to the enhancement of local poetry, polyphonic singing, and traditional clothing, as well as the protection of the country's archaeological assets, such as the site of Mandra Antine.
