The Monastery of San Pietro di Sorres, in Borutta, hosted the presentation of the project "Il Cammino delle Janas", promoted by the Centro Studi Identità e Memoria, supported by the Fondazione di Sardegna, the municipalities, and the cultural, hospitality, and production realities of Meilogu, linked to the project for the UNESCO recognition of the Domus de Janas. "The Domus de Janas", which CeSIM has been pursuing since 2018 to obtain recognition of the most significant representations of Sardinian prehistory as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. "Il Cammino delle Janas represents a concrete model for the protection and promotion of archaeological sites nominated for UNESCO recognition," explains the project coordinators.
