Padria - Open Monuments

"Monumenti Aperti" is an event that allows you to discover the cultural and artistic heritage of the country.

"Monumenti Aperti" in Padria is one of the stops of a regional event that takes place in several municipalities of Sardinia, aimed at enhancing the historical, artistic, and cultural heritage of the island.

During the weekend, visitors can join guided tours, which allow exploration of the most significant sites in Padria:  the church Santa Giulia in Gothic-Aragonese style, the Church of Santa Maria degli Angel with the adjacent Franciscan Convent, the church and oratory of Santa Croce, the monumental and archaeological complex of Palattu and the various archaeological sites of Nuragic era (Nuraghe Longu and Nuraghe Binza).

This initiative has the goal of acquainting and creating an appreciation for the significant historical legacy of Padria, with a particular focus on local archeology and art.

The churches, monuments, squares and breathtaking views of the town provide an opportunity to better understand the cultural roots of the territory.
