Tancas Abertas

The WWF Oasis Steppe Sarde is located in the territory of Mores and includes an area of 8 hectares of semi-natural prairie.

It was established to protect one of the most important nesting sites of the kentish plover.

In the oasis there are also Mediterranean temporary ponds, of Community interest habitats.

The site hosts many other species of particular interest, such as the Spur-winged lapwing, white stork, Sardinian buzzard, Parsley frog, and Sardinian tree frog.
