The San Gavino church was built in the thirteenth century and subsequently modified several times.

Of particular interest is a tombstone on the right of the main portal which, according to an absolutely unconfirmed tradition and in contrast to what is reported by the Libellus Judicum Turritanorum, would mark the burial place of the judge Adelasia of Torres.
