Description
The museum, which has an archaeological and ethnographic character, hosts a vast collection of artifacts from the excavations of the nuragic complex of Santu Antine.
The archaeological section is mainly dedicated to the finds from the site and includes a model that represents the monument in its different phases of the Middle Bronze Age and the Iron Age.
An exhibition room is dedicated to the artifacts found in the excavations of the fortress and some huts of the village, including limestone bullets, 11th-century foundry tongs, a fragment of a nuraghe model, and a little bronze statue depicting a puppy.
The settlement is documented through educational panels and photographs of the prehistoric monuments.
A section is also dedicated to the Roman era and the Middle Ages, with evidence from Logudoro-Meilogu, including Roman milestones dating back to the III-IV century AD.
